Claire has a wealth of childcare experience and a genuine passion for creating happy, memorable moments for the children she cares for. Her journey in childcare began back in 1992 when she travelled to the USA to work as an Au Pair, caring for four children aged 6 months, 4, 7, and 9 years. Two years later, she continued her childcare career in Kensington, London, working as a Nanny/Au Pair for a family with two young children aged 4 and 6 years.
After taking time out to raise her own family, Claire returned to professional childcare in 2014, offering holiday nanny services in the Méribel and Courchevel valleys. Over the past decade, she has become a familiar and trusted face in resort, providing dedicated care for visiting families. Her work includes ski school drop-offs and pick-ups, organising fun, engaging indoor and outdoor activities, and ensuring that each child’s holiday is filled with laughter, adventure, and creativity.
In the summer months, Claire also enjoys hosting language exchange students at her home. French children stay with her family during the school holidays, immersing themselves in English conversation and culture, an experience Claire makes both educational and enjoyable.
Having personally worked alongside Claire, Nicole highly recommends her for families with children of all ages. Claire’s calm, capable manner and her ability to form quick, genuine bonds with children make her a fantastic addition to any family holiday. She is organised, professional, and endlessly kind — and her years of experience shine through in everything she does.
