Nicole Wallbank is the owner and Manager of Meribel Nanny Services.
Nicole Wallbank is 34 years old and has a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in childcare and Education, an OCN level 4 maternity practitioner award along with certificates In child nutrition, Supporting children with Special Educational needs and supporting children with speech language and communication. Plus 16 years’ experience working with children from new-born up to 12 years, 15 winter seasons of which have been in Meribel.
During the past 12 months, with travel being restricted and Meribel Nanny Services being temporarily closed, Nicole has been working in Verbier as a Rota nanny working 24/7 4 weeks on 4 weeks off, caring for twin boys, 4 years old, this has been a great experience for Nicole and although she was sad to leave, it was time to head back and begin to look forward to a normal winter season beginning.
Although the running of Meribel Nanny Services keeps Nicole busy, she cannot imagine life without children in it and believes she will always do bookings along side her office hours, it is much more fun than sitting at a computer!
In the between the winter season Nicole has previously worked as a travel/holiday nanny – travelling around Europe with various families, as a live in Nanny in London, live in Nanny in Australia and a kids club rep.
Originally coming to alps at 19 years old to take a year out before university Nicole fell in love with working as a chalet nanny for VIP Ski, snowboarding and the mountains. Since then she has never looked back and is so happy to be a resident here in France learning French (although it is still very basic) and enjoying the lifestyle living in the mountains brings
