We are delighted to welcome Barbara to our nanny team for winter 2026/27. Originally from Poland, Barbara has been living and working in the Belleville Valley for the past 11 years, where she is based year-round with her family.
Barbara is a highly experienced nanny with over 11 years of professional childcare experience caring for children of all ages. She is also a mum to three children, giving her a wonderful combination of professional childcare knowledge and hands-on experience as a parent, including caring for babies and toddlers.
Fluent in English, French and Polish, Barbara has a natural ability to connect with children, quickly building warm, trusting relationships and helping little ones feel happy, comfortable and secure in her care. Having worked with visiting families for many years, she understands how important it is for parents to feel confident leaving their children with someone new while they enjoy their holiday.
Barbara loves planning creative, fun and age-appropriate activities, particularly arts and crafts, imaginative play and outdoor adventures. Whether it’s heading out for a snowy walk with the pushchair, getting creative indoors or exploring everything the mountains have to offer, Barbara enjoys making sure the children in her care have a wonderful holiday of their own.
As a long-term resident of the Belleville Valley, Barbara brings fantastic local knowledge and experience of life in the Three Valleys, allowing her to make the most of the activities and opportunities available for children throughout the winter.
Barbara is criminal record checked and will complete her paediatric first aid training with our team in November 2026, ahead of the winter season.
Friendly, caring and attentive, Barbara places great importance on listening to parents, understanding each family’s individual needs and building relationships based on trust and communication. She loves getting to know the families she works with and hopes to build lasting relationships that see them returning year after year.
We are delighted to have Barbara joining our team and know that her extensive local nannying experience, multilingual skills and warm, nurturing approach will make her a wonderful addition this winter.
